Alpinestars Rib Protector for Adults

Alpinestars Rib Protector for Adults is specially designed for kart drivers who want to combine maximum rib cage protection with superior comfort. Thanks to its ergonomic design, this rib protector fits the body perfectly and provides optimal support during practice sessions and races.

The rib protector features an advanced multi-layered protection system that absorbs shocks, distributes impact forces, and reduces pressure on the ribs. This provides better protection for the ribs, chest, and sides of the body against the heavy strain caused by karting.

Advanced multi-layer construction

The Alpinestars Rib Support consists of several protective layers that work together to provide optimal protection:

3 mm of dense comfort padding that rests directly against the body for a comfortable fit.

4 mm EVA foam that absorbs impact and reduces vibration.

Fiberglass panel that absorbs shocks and distributes them over a larger surface area, thereby reducing pressure on the rib cage.

This combination provides an excellent balance between protection, flexibility, and comfort.

Fully adjustable fit

The BIONIC Rib Protector features an adjustable system with multiple Velcro fasteners on the back. This allows the fit to be precisely adjusted to the rider’s body type.

Each adult size features three separate Velcro adjustments to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. This rib protector is also available in a children's version.

Fitting advice

For maximum protection, a proper fit is essential.

When trying on the Alpinestars Rib Support:

Make sure the chest strap is snug but comfortable.

Make sure the entire rib cage is properly covered.

Make sure that your breathing and arm movements are not restricted.

Wear the rib protector over the same clothes you normally wear while karting.

Maintenance

To extend the life of the rib protector:
